Licence Grant

Upon purchase, Regan Lee Andrews (“Licensor”) grants the purchaser (“Licensee”) a non-exclusive, perpetual, worldwide licence to synchronise the licensed music track(s) with audiovisual works, including but not limited to film, television, online video, advertising, corporate media, documentaries, games, podcasts, and social media content.

This licence permits use in commercial and non-commercial projects, including broadcast use, provided that the music is used as part of a larger audiovisual work and is not redistributed as standalone audio.

🚫 Restrictions

The Licensee may not:

  • Resell, sublicense, share, or redistribute the music as audio-only files

  • Claim authorship or ownership of the music

  • Register the music with any content identification or rights management system as their own

  • Use the music in any unlawful, defamatory, or misleading context

🎼 Performance Rights & APRA AMCOS Clause (IMPORTANT)

Performance rights are expressly reserved by the Licensor.

The Licensee acknowledges that the licensed music is represented by
APRA AMCOS, and that public performance, broadcast, and communication to the public may generate performance royalties.

Where the licensed music is used in:

  • television or cable broadcasts

  • streaming platforms (including FAST / AVOD channels)

  • film, documentary, or festival exhibition

  • public venues

  • or any other context requiring performance reporting

the Licensee agrees that:

  • the music must be accurately credited and reported using the following composer details:

  • all applicable cue sheets, usage reports, and performance declarations must correctly identify Regan Lee Andrews as the composer and rights holder.

No portion of this licence waives, assigns, or transfers the Licensor’s right to collect performance royalties.

📌 No Buyout / No Waiver

This licence does not constitute a buyout of performance rights.

Any “royalty-free,” blanket, subscription, or enterprise usage granted under this licence applies only to synchronisation rights and does not affect the Licensor’s entitlement to collect performance royalties via APRA AMCOS or affiliated performing rights organisations worldwide.

🧾 Credit (where applicable)

Where on-screen or production credits are customary or technically feasible, the Licensee agrees to credit the music as:

⚖️ Governing Law

This licence shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New Zealand, without regard to conflict of law principles.
